AUBURN HOUR

Stillness within Motion

What if just a few minutes of stillness or mindful movement could shift the energy of an entire film set, production, or tour?

Life in film and music is exhilarating and creatively fulfilling, but it is also physically and mentally demanding. Long days on set, heavy equipment, standing for hours, intense focus, constant momentum. Camera and sound teams often carry tension in their shoulders and backs. Performers feel it in their bodies. Production teams rarely stop moving.

There is often a quieter pressure, too. Moving from one job to the next. Touring. Tight turnarounds. High expectations. It can be hard to switch off, and over time that constant motion can lead to exhaustion, overwhelm, and burnout.

Auburn Hour offers one-to-one and group yoga and wellbeing sessions designed specifically for cast, musicians, and crew. Sessions are fully tailored to your production or touring schedule and can take place on set, on location, or wherever you are working. Even ten to fifteen minutes at the start of the day, during a break, or after wrap can release physical tension, support mobility and posture, restore energy, and help regulate the nervous system.

Often the physical relief is what people notice first. Looser shoulders. Less back pain. More ease carrying kit or standing through long takes. What follows is something just as important. Clearer thinking. A steadier nervous system. Greater emotional balance. A calmer atmosphere across the team.

Drawing on my experience working in film and music alongside my training as a certified yoga teacher and Mental Health First Aider, I design practical, set-friendly micro-sessions that integrate easily into busy environments. Some are as short as five minutes. They are grounding, accessible, and designed to support both physical resilience and mental wellbeing without disrupting the rhythm of the working day.

At its heart, Auburn Hour is about creating stillness within motion. It offers cast, musicians, and crew space to reset and reconnect inside fast-moving creative environments, so stress and fatigue do not quietly build beneath the surface.

Through Auburn Hour, I aim to bring balance, ease, and care into everyday working life, helping people feel aligned and supported. When body and mind work together, that golden hour feeling follows. Not because the pressure disappears, but because people feel steadier within it.

If you would like to bring calm, clarity, and genuine care to your film set, production, or tour, I would love to collaborate.
